Baby... Girl???

We had our 3rd ultra sound yesterday. It was so cool. This time "she" did not move around so much as last time, unfortunately. So we now "think" our baby is a girl instead of an it. She was kind of jackknifed in there and breech... her head and feet were at my belly button, so it made it hard to tell if the "external plumbing," (as Kevin calls it) was there or just hidden around a corner. So it would have been nice to have her move around a bit instead of being difficult. The tech did say that she didn't see any evidence of a boy though. Since the heart was also hidden and the tech couldn't get the measurements she needed on it, we get to go back for a 4th ultra sound and maybe we will be able to be more sure. I already bought a really cute little sleeper though, and mom bought her a pink one... so hopefully we wont be needing to take them back. ;)



In this video you can see her head on the left side with her arm reaching up with her hand near her eyes or so. You can also see her little body and her ribs. Towards the end you can even see her heart beating in her chest!

Everything we could see looked good to the doctor. She weighs about 13.5 oz and is right on track for all her measurements so far. Maybe soon we'll go get some 3-D pictures, but I'm still not exactly sure how I feel about those things.
