Milk Cures Crying
You would think that I would have ended up with more final product when I started out with huge bowl of chopped. I guess onion is more water than onion. (So to make the milk thing work, when you start to feel the sting coming on, just gulp milk and you'll be good to soldier on!)
Oh, and a few relatives have complained they can't comment without having an account, so I changed my preferences so you can comment and choose "anonymous" so let the comments roll on in family members.

The Fun Week with Family and Friends
I headed out to Rachael Dillin Duncan's house on wed, she lives about 2 hours away and stayed with her wed and Thurs night. We had a blast shopping and catching up, we hadn't seen each other in over 2 1/2 years. I helped her make and put up a wall vinyl. It kinda looks crooked in the pic, but its not.

4-D Ulatrasound Finally Here!
This was so much fun! I would definitely recommend it to everyone that is having a baby. I was a little apprehensive, i mean, we aren't supposed to know what she looks like till she's born right? But still, its way cool.
Here she is sucking on the knuckle of her thumb. Her hands were by her face the whole time, except of course we looked at her feet and her hands went straight there, and then back to her face again when we went to look there too.
You can see her eye open here. The placenta is kind of covering the left side of her face somewhat. I looked at my baby picture and it is the same nose! But i think her lips are more like Kevin's.
What amazing technology we have in our time!
This is one of my favorites because the technician was pushing on my stomach to make her move around a little, and she got a big frowny face and scrunched her nose and this is the picture she was able to get from it.
Her eye open again... almost kind a creepy.. but it's still cool. They gave me a VHS of the actual movement she did and I'm going to get it transferred to a DVD so i can put that up too.
And here is my baby picture... what do you think? Is daughter like mother?

Kevins Crazy School Upadate
"Our mornings are usually crazy. Wake up is 5:25 now. No earlier or later. It's considered cheating if you do. And we have to make our beds, set up our rooms for inspection, (by the measurements) brush teeth and shave and be down in formation by 5:37 usually. Then PT, but after it gets crazy. We usually come up at 7:10-7:12. Have to shower, put on clean ACUs (and put on all patches and rank) and clean the barracks for common area inspection, i.e. dry showers and sinks, polish drinking fountains and such, and be back down to formation by about 7:30 or so. Then chow and classes all day. And then it gets pretty crazy again at night."
The letter from this week:
" We took our first exam. I got a 90%, which was pretty good for the class average. We had leadership reassignments to day. Unfortunately I am now Candidate Platoon Seargent. Not too big of a deal really, just have to stand out in front of the formation and eat last."
"I volunteered to call cadence while marching once the other day. Now I'm one of the favorites, sort of. At least one of the few who can do it. Unfortunately I've killed my voice so i can't really call it now anyway"
I think overall he is doing very well, given the type of environment the guys in charge are creating for all wocs. PT sounds kinda ruff for all the guys and classes are kinda boring, but its almost 3 of the 7 weeks over. The hardest thing it seems is they have ridiculous time constraints that they expect them to get things done in, and it would be impossible for anyone to do. Next week he goes to the field. He should get phone privileges this week or next week, which I am very much looking forward to, as you all can imagine. I'll try my best to keep you updated.
